Find a Hut may be new to the industry but we’ve got big dreams! Find a Hut aims to provide accommodation seekers with a wide range of accommodation choices and simple search functionality to find what they want, quickly and easily.
We can only do this if we have enough accommodation listings using our website. To list with us is completely free and all we charge is 15% commission of the total booking once a payment is made (+VAT South Africa). Find a Hut is a way for accommodation providers to advertise their property online. Each accommodation gets its own page to upload content as well as its own gallery with a rotating image header on the page. Our website is designed so that you can update your page yourself and keep it up to date. You choose a username and password for each establishment you would like to list and can easily maintain it thereafter. All bookings are made online and enquiries go directly to the establishment by email. Guests are able to request free quotes and any queries they have can be dealt with by “chat” through the booking page on Find a Hut directly with the establishment. Once they have accepted a booking, we give them 48 hours in which to make a payment; either the full amount or 50% deposit. Guests can choose their preferred payment method, whether EFT, credit card or PayPal. Find a Hut handles all payments ensuring you get paid on time! We do not charge credit card or transaction fees and aim to settle with the accommodation holder within 4 days of receiving payment. How do you get noticed? We conduct specialised search engine optimisation, online marketing and advertising in order to build a strong brand that will keep guests coming back to book more! Once listed, each accommodation has a unique URL link to our website. Those with the most links from other sites will rank above other listings (people only link to your page if there is something worth linking to). Using guest ratings, links pointing from other sites (like Facebook and Digg) to you, your activity on the profile and additional input from Find a Hut we determine your “Heat Ratio” – just how hot is your accommodation? This will affect your rankings on the site. The higher your Heat Ratio the higher you show in the search and the more traffic your page will receive, increasing your conversions. So send your unique Find a Hut link to everyone you know to support you. Add your property and gauge for yourself! |
